Frieze Abu Dhabi Lines Up 84 Galleries for Inaugural Edition in November
Frieze Abu Dhabi announced 84 exhibitors for its inaugural fair, running November 19–22 at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Cultural District. The lineup spans galleries from 63 cities in 36 countries, including 36 galleries (about 43%) with locations in the SWANA region, alongside major international dealers such as Gagosian, Pace, Thaddaeus Ropac, Victoria Miro, Galleria Continua, and Perrotin. The fair will include a Focus section for emerging artists with six participating galleries receiving bursaries, plus a curated Global Futures section led by Tarini Malik and a Frieze Masters section organized by Marika Sardar with an Indian Ocean theme. Established with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, Frieze Abu Dhabi replaces the 17-year-old Abu Dhabi Art fair and follows Art Basel Qatar’s regional debut earlier this year.
