How Alexandria Gallery Went From Cleveland Pop-Up to Global Force
Alexandria Gallery, founded by Irina Falberg, began as a nonprofit pop-up in the Cleveland area with a mission of making art more accessible to new and seasoned collectors. It has since grown into a permanent space in Woodmere, outside Cleveland, representing more than 50 artists from over 30 countries and running a robust exhibition program that prioritizes individual works over strict categories like medium or style. The gallery’s programming includes affordable artist prints, educational initiatives, and artist talks, as well as a project inviting writers to respond to artworks in forms ranging from essays to experimental writing. Among the artists highlighted are Zoe Sever, whose solo show “Take a Tour of Kaleidoscopic Cityscapes” is on view through August 31, Olivia de Rossi (with works dated 2026), and Fausto Perez.
