Top Executive and Senior Sales Director Leave Pace Following Gallery’s ‘Restructuring’
Two senior figures at Pace Gallery—chief communications officer Amelia Redgrift and senior sales director Dani Forest Brandi—have resigned, following the gallery’s recent restructuring, ARTnews reports. Their departures come about two months after Pace laid off roughly 50 employees in June as CEO Marc Glimcher reduced staff across departments and cut the gallery’s artist roster after years of expansion. Redgrift joined Pace in late 2019 from Hauser & Wirth shortly after the gallery opened its new Chelsea headquarters and led communications through the pandemic and campaigns tied to initiatives including a Don Marron collection deal with Gagosian and Acquavella, a partnership with Institut Restellini, and the launch of Pace DiDonna Schrader. Forest Brandi said her next role will be announced in September, and sources told ARTnews both executives have already secured senior positions elsewhere in the art and culture sector.
