Venice Biennale 2026: all the national pavilions, artists and curators so far

The Art Newspaper published a running list on 9 February 2026 of national pavilion announcements for the 61st Venice Biennale, which opens 9 May 2026 and runs through 22 November 2026 across the Giardini, Arsenale, and other Venice venues. The main exhibition is set to follow the curatorial plan of the late Koyo Kouoh, while countries continue to name their pavilion artists and organizers. Early entries include Australia (artist Khaled Sabsabi, organized by Michael Dagostino and Creative Australia), Austria (Florentina Holzinger), Belgium (Miet Warlop), Brazil (Rosana Paulino and Adriana Varejão, organized by Diane Lima and Fundação Bienal de São Paulo), Canada (Abbas Akhavan), and Cyprus (Marina Xenofontos).
